Let’s face it, brunch is the most important meal of the week; you get to finish out the week with your best babes and bros while eating delicious food and drowning out the #SundayScaries with bottomless mimosas.
We’re always on the hunt for the next brunch hot spot and we found our new favorite brunch at Toups South on Oretha Castle Haley. Why are we so obsessed with Toups South you might ask?
Chef Isaac Toups
Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” season 13 fan favorite and James Beard Awards nominee, Chef Isaac Toups, represents the new guard of Cajun chefs, he is known for his sophisticated approach to a cuisine that’s best known for deep rustic flavors. His culinary style is the direct result of his New Orleans fine dining experience and growing up Cajun, born and raised in Rayne, LA. Plus, he’s just a really cool guy and it’s a fantastic experience to see him cook at Toups South’s open kitchen.
The staff at Toups South will go out of their way to make any meal at their restaurant feel extra special. From accommodating large groups on a busy weekend, to making you look extra good in front of your boyfriend’s not so nice friends from out of town 😂😂😂 Shoutout to our girl Twee!
$15 Bottomless Mimosas
need we say more?
Did we mention that the food is amazing? Be sure to start off your meal with some of Chef Toups’ signature cracklins.
We were originally introduced to the Boudin Burritos during our first Boudin Bourbon & Beer, and we were delighted to know they now have them on the brunch menu!
Next: get a Pastrami Hash to share.
Is this brunch goals or what?!
Don’t forget about dessert.
