Louisiana seafood festival
Three days of seafood, cocktails, live music, and lots of fun at City Park. Vendors from all over Louisiana will be serving their takes on every type of seafood cuisine – oysters, crawfish, shrimp, you name it. TOTC Daiquiri Season – Tour # 1
September is Daiquiri Season, a month of Daiquiri-focused festivities produced by Tales of the Cocktail. Restaurants and bars all over the city are serving their take on the infamous Daiquiri, as well as having activities for New Orleanians and tourists to celebrate this fabulous drank. This Friday, Tales of The Cocktail is hosting their first official Daiquiri Tour featuring New Orleans style frozen daiquiris, classic daiquiris, and daiquiri-inspired cocktails. The tour will begin at the Ace Hotel and you’ll jump aboard an authentic New Orleans Party Bus to bar hop around the city. Intrigued? So are we. Check out more info HERE.
Southern Decadence, the annual festival of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lifestyle, is back this Labor Day Weekend for the 45th time. From Sept. 1 to 5, you can attend a many events around NOLA, a float parade, block party and walking parade. We’re particularly interested in the Rooftop Sunset Happy Hour and Dance Party at the Catahoula Hotel. For more info on Southern Decadence visit their official website
