Our favorite TV Dad ever, duh!

…even if that means sacrificing your Saturday night to make sure you’re not hungover on Sunday. Sorry, Babes – there’s no valid excuse to not get out of bed this Sunday.

If you’ve been having a crazy summer like us, you may not have fully planned out your Father’s Day celebrations just yet. Have no fear, we have some awesome last minute ideas to come through for the most important man in your life.

For The Local Dad

Share Pints With Pops On A Brewery Tour

From what we’ve gathered, most dads enjoy a pint of beer or two. Take your dad out on a tour of a local brewery – there are SO many breweries around NOLA these days. Check out this handy dandy guide to New Orleans Breweries to start planning.

If you’re feeling ambitious (and you have a designated driver), hit up more than one of these breweries and turn Father’s Day into a real local adventure!

Cool Off By The Pool

We know, we know, not all of us are #blessed to have a pool at are house. Thankfully, a handful of hotels in the area are doing special summer promotions so locals can enjoy their fabulous pool areas. Here are a few family-friendly pools we recommend for Father’s Day,

  • The Ace Hotel – Pool access is free but you must spend at least $20 on food or drinks.
  • W French Quarter – On Sundays (except July 3), the pool is open to the public. To access the pool you have to pay $30 per person, the fee goes toward food and drink credit at the pool. Buy your passes online here.
  • Le Meridien – For $15, you can access the pool, sip a free glass of wine, beer or featured cocktail. Locals must provide their own towels. Feeling extra fancy? You can purchase cabana packages, for $350 (includes a six-person covered seating area, a bottle of liquor, mixers, water, valet parking, fresh fruit and chips and salsa).
  • The Roosevelt Hotel – Pool access is strictly for guests, but with a Spa appointment or Spa membership you can access the pool with guests. For more deets, go here.
