Cool Down & Drink Up With These Frozen Drinks

As the weather heats up, we will be staying cool by sipping on some of our favorite frozen dranks in NOLA. Whether hitting happy hour, grabbing a to go drink to spend a Sunday afternoon at The Fly, or heading to lounge poolside, these drinks are sure to give you a buzz and and cool you down! You won’t find any super sized sugary drinks on this list that will leave you with a giant stomach ache and head ache.

Vodka Daiquiri

Nola Distilling Company, 3715 Tchoupitoulas, New Orleans, LA 70115

This refreshing pink daiq is made with cranberry juice and NOLA Distilling’s locally made vodka. They don’t officially open until this Thursday, but this is sure to be your new go to summer bev. The distillery will be starting off with just vodka, and soon expanding into gin as well.

Frosé all Day

Willa Jean, 611 O’Keefe Ave, New Orleans, LA 70113

Willa Jean is the only place in town making this trendy pink beverage, and that’s just one of the many reasons we love them so much. Not only is there lots of pink wine blended into these, but a little added vodka means 1.5 frosés in, the buzz is real. So tasty, and so refreshing!

Every #SundayFunday should include Frosé 💅🏻💅🏻

The drinks are changed up quite frequently, and often include ingredients that you wouldn’t expect in your daiquiri, but they never disappoint the tastebuds.

Hurricanes

Bourrée at Boucherie, 1510 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118

Sister restaurant to Boucherie, you already know this isn’t going to be your typical wing and daiq joint. Don’t be turned off by the ultra sugary Hurricane that comes to mind when you think Bourbon Street. These hurricanes are made wish fresh passion fruit, the way a hurricane was intended. Don’t skip the wings – they are the best in town!

At last there is a reason to abandon the AC in the summer heat babes! Drink up, and let us know if we missed one of your frozen faves in the comments.
